50K for £50K

Forget the gym and those promises to go running every day, Hill Partnerships are supporting Papworth Trust's 50k for £50k Challenge to raise money for the Saxongate Community Learning Centre in Huntingdon.

As one of three major supporters, the company are backing this 50km walk to be held on 12th May 2007 following a route from Thetford forest to Cambridgeshire. The company is entering two teams of walkers and is asking it suppliers, subcontractors and other partners to put in their own teams of four to six people and to support those who are walking.

Hill Partnerships have worked with the Trust on a number of key fund raising activities for the Centre including a major dinner held in Cambridge and hosted by Sir John Major. Hill Partnerships and Hill Residential were partners in the development of the scheme which included the learning centre, access flats for rent by Papworth tenants and apartments for sale.

Papworth Trust is a regional disability charity which promotes equality, choice and independence for disabled people. They provide a number of key services, including employment, training, housing and advice, to about 4,500 disabled people each year. The Saxongate Community Learning Centre is a groundbreaking facility providing accessible opportunities for education and skills development to the whole community.
