Hill Partnerships' scheme on view at Gallions Park exhibition

From 8th March 2007 the schemes designed by the finalists for the London Mayor’s First Zero Carbon Scheme at Gallions Park will be on display at Sustainable London at the Building Centre, 28 Store Street, London.

Sustainable London is a major exhibition that will present the challenge, the response and examples of real progress towards a sustainable 21st Century city. It will show how climate change is being tackled through ideas, strategy and planning across the city and in individual boroughs, through existing good practice and new technology in major developments such as the Olympic site, neighbourhood developments and individual buildings. The exhibition will run from Friday 9th March to Saturday 28th April 2007.Hill Partnerships and architects, Pollard Thomas Edwards, joined the London and Quadrant consortium which bid for the project. The team pulled together a range of experts including energy consultants, Fulcrum First, to submit their imaginative and innovative design. Andy Hill, Managing Director of Hill Partnerships, said, “Gallions Park is a very exciting scheme. Our project team met the challenge to design and deliver a zero carbon scheme with enthusiasm and inventiveness. We are now keen to put that experience into practice elsewhere.” For more details of the talks and seminars relating to the exhibition go to http://www.buildingcentretrust.org/xplorer/exhibitions.htm
