34 Dwellings Kettle Drive, Hawkinge Kent for Southern Housing Group

A project for Southern Housing Group, this project was constructed on land identified by Shepway District Council for construction. The Client, from the outset stated that this development was to be constructed using a modern method of construction in order to further promote the necessary drive to improve productivity. The 124 modules, manufactured by our supplier Rollalong Ltd, commenced in the factory June 2003 and were delivered to site during September. Unlike other modular housing schemes of this type undertaken by us, the dwellings were clad traditionally. The project commenced on site 7 July 2003 and the contract was completed 3 weeks ahead of programme on the 3rd. April 2004. The project comprised 28 houses, four flats and two bungalows. Four dwellings were constructed to lifetime homes standards and six of the houses were successfully sold on a shared ownership basis.

Hill Partnerships Ltd received the order in May 2003 and the team, with the full assistance of the Client, signed off designs and layouts in early June in order to meet the available production slot in Rollalong’s factory.
